Apex Surveys were commissioned to produce an as-built BIM Model and 2D AutoCAD drawings to facilitate redevelopment and refurbishment works at Irish Life headquarters at Lower Abbey Street, Dublin 1.

Key Activities
Survey was initially focused on Block 3A which comprised of 10 floors over basement and Block 3B which comprised of 5 floors over basement for a total approximate area of 12,000 SQM. The survey was later extended to include Block 2 comprising of an additional 5 floors at 5,000 SQM.
Survey required working in both a live office environment and during ongoing refurbishment works.
Survey partially carried out at night to avoid disruption to office activities.
Car parks, plant rooms and roof plan included in survey.
BIM Model produced and delivered to LOD 300.
